We are happy about every pence we can give to MAG which allows them to continue their valuable work or even speed it up.
One might ask why we decided to help people who are so far away from Switzerland. And many may ask why they should donate for them. Like we already mentioned in 'The Project' our decision was an organic process with a general interest in the region at its kick off. However, it is our strong belief that an investment in the peace, security and future anywhere in the world benefits every earthling. At the end of the day we're all on this one planet that we have. And if we don't take care of it and its inhabitants together we will never be able to change anything.
Amidst the bitter poverty the question of what sets us apart from them forces itself upon you. That we were born in the wealth and security of Switzerland and not in a UXO contaminated village where people are starving is by no means something we deserved or earned. It is pure luck at best. And what if we would have drawn the other straw?
In order to give something back to our generous donors we have created a pixel wall. Everybody who donates more than 25 Swiss francs (or the equivalent in another currency) will get the opportunity to place a (politically neutral) picture or logo on it. This can be interesting for companies who would like to generate more traffic on their website by supporting a charitable cause. Momentarily (2.7.2013) we have roughly 3000 hits per month (English and German combined), mainly from Switzerland, the US, Germany and England. The size of the logo depends on the donated amount. 25 francs are an equivalent of 100 pixels (10 x 10), 50 francs 200 pixels (10 x 20), 100 francs 400 pixels (20 x 20 or 10 x 40) etc.
Please send us the desired picture / logo via email. If no picture is sent we will use the flag of the respective country we are hiking in. Please allow a week for us to upload your picture since internet access is often very scarce.

You have two donation options. The simplest is via Justgiving (credit card), the money is transferred directly to MAG.
The second option is a bank transfer. We have no access to the money, my brother is managing the account. He will transfer it directly to MAG. Of course we will disclose all transactions upon request.
